Prospect on the Rise

Colleyville Heritage 2024 ATH Luke Ullrich (5'10, 185) is the newest DCTF three-star prospect following a tremendous senior season.

Ullrich has started to heat up on the recruiting trail, securing offers from North Texas, Idaho State and Abilene Christian over the past two weeks.

This season, Ullrich racked up 4,259 total yards and scored 49 touchdowns.

Commit of the Week

Dallas Christian 2024 CB William Nettles (5'11, 185) committed to SMU.

Nettles is rated as a DCTF three-star prospect, checking in as the No. 12 CB prospect in 2024.

Scouting Report: Nettles starred on both sides of the ball, but his upside at cornerback put his name on the map in recruiting. Possessing remarkable length and a tenacious attitude, he has the attributes that can elevate him to be special. His combination of physical tools and a determined mindset makes him a formidable defensive presence, capable of disrupting opposing offenses and shutting down key plays.

Underclassman of the Week

Melissa 2025 OL Owen Hollenbeck (6'3, 310) committed to Oklahoma over offers from Texas A&M, Arkansas and Florida.

Scouting Report: A tough and strong interior lineman, excelling at the point of attack. His physical play often results in highlight-worthy pancake blocks. His technical proficiency shines through in his ability to maintain leverage and play with a good pad level.

Recruit of the Week

Katy 2024 OL Coen Echols (6'4, 300) accepted an invitation to play in the All-American Bowl in San Antonio on Saturday, January 6, at 12:00 PM CST.

On the recruiting front, Echols decommitted from Texas A&M earlier this week. He took an unofficial visit to Auburn for the Iron Bowl.
