Austin Westlake 2025 DE Connor Vasek (6'4, 235) will be a major recruiting target in Central Texas. He has already secured his first scholarship offer from Texas State and made some strong connections as he traveled the country checking out top-ranked programs during his brother's (Texas Freshman DE Colton Vasek) recruitment. 

On Saturday, the Vasek family enjoyed a second rivalry win over Lake Travis to advance to the 6A Division I State Semifinals and a Big 12 Championship win that sent the Longhorns to the College Football Playoffs.
