BREAKING: UIL announces enrollment cutoffs for 2024-26 district realignment

The University Interscholastic League announced the enrollment cutoffs for its upcoming 2024-26 district realignment, sending coaches and fans across Texas scrambling for the enrollment numbers to project what classification and division its team will fit in for the next two Texas high school football seasons.

The UIL cutoff numbers are as follows:

CLASS 6A
2,275 students and above

CLASS 5A DIVISION I
1,903 to 2,274 students

CLASS 5A DIVISION II
1,315 to 1,902 students

CLASS 4A DIVISION I
957 to 1,314 students

CLASS 4A DIVISION II
545 to 956 students

CLASS 3A DIVISION I
369 to 544 students

CLASS 3A DIVISION II
254 to 368 students

CLASS 2A DIVISION I
181.5 to 253 students

CLASS 2A DIVISION II
105 to 181.4 students

CLASS 1A DIVISION I
61.5 to 104.9 students

CLASS 1A DIVISION II
61.4 students and fewer
