Hudson's elusiveness and acceleration after the catch make him a formidable playmaker, and his football IQ enhances his overall versatility on the field.

Underclassman of the Week

DeSoto 2025 WR Daylon Singleton (5'10, 165) committed to SMU over offers from Texas Tech, Arkansas, Auburn, Michigan, Nebraska, Tennessee and more.

Singleton has stepped into the playmaker role within the Eagles' offensive scheme as he has quickly developed a rapport with DJ Bailey, securing eight catches for 201 yards and three touchdowns in three games. 

Scouting Report: Singleton, a speedy and elusive receiver, is a game-changer with separation skills and excellent yards-after-catch ability. His sharp route-running and body control shine on mid-range routes, making him a potential explosive slot receiver in college.

Recruit of the Week

Midland Legacy 2024 QB Marcos Davila (6'3, 200) had a monster game in a 48-17 win over Abilene and became the all-time passing leader in school history. 

Davila completed 18 of 32 passes for 347 yards and three touchdowns and posted a two-yard TD run.  

The DCTF four-star prospect is committed to Purdue.
