Photo No. 19 shot by Deidra Porter: Jaylon Carter (2nd grade brother of the late Jaquez Carter) Jaquez was supposed to be a Senior and a Varsity football player for the 2023 season. Jaquez was in a tragic car wreck May of 2023 and lost his life. This death affected the entire community and school district. The team, including close friend and brother Ashton Cartwright, are standing behind young Jaylon Carter during the National Anthem and moment of silence. Jaylon and his mother attended every game this season to show support to all of Jaquez' teammates and brothers.
