Sachse 2025 WR Kaliq Lockett (6'2, 175) committed to Texas over Texas A&M, Alabama and LSU offers.

Locckett is rated as the No. 9 prospect in the 2025 DCTF Rising Hot 100, marking him as one of the nation's most elite prospects.

As a junior in 2023, Lockett collected 59 receptions for 1,299 yards and 13 touchdowsn to earn DCTF Super Team honors.

Scouting Report: Lockett is an athletic outside wide receiver with an abnormally large (6-foot-7) catch radius and the ability to high-point the football. His ability to make plays in contested catch situations showcases his athleticism and unique ability to thrive under pressure.

Known for his knack for high-pointing the ball, he consistently outleaps defenders to secure receptions. This skill becomes particularly valuable in red-zone situations, where his ball-tracking abilities and reliable hands make him a potent weapon.

As a result, he becomes a reliable go-to option when the team needs to convert in crucial moments. His combination of acrobatics, ball awareness, and hands makes him a formidable force, especially when the game is on the line.
