Class Grade: B-

Texas A&M currently rates within the top 15 nationally. Still, a large majority of its top recruits remain unsigned, so this grade could change drastically by the time National Signing Day rolls around on Feb. 7.

Key Additions

Who were the highest-rated signees or prospects who might come in and make a significant impact?

OL Blake Ivy (6'4, 280) - Clear Springs: With a blue-collar mentality and an 85-inch wingspan, Ivy can play center, guard, or tackle, making him one of the most versatile prospects regardless of position in Texas in the 2024 cycle. He's known as a highly athletic offensive line prospect and possesses a high ceiling for development due to his attributes.

OG Isendre Ahfua (6'5, 310) - Seattle O'Dea (Wa.): The All-American from the Pacific Northwest is rated a 247Sports four-star, checking in as the No. 8 IOL nationally. Strength is the name of his game, and he racks up a lot of pancake blocks.

Fan Favorite

What prospect was a fan favorite or a local hero who starred near the campus?

Ashton Funk (6'6, 295) - Katy Tompkins: Funk is the model of consistency up front. He has a wealth of experience playing left tackle. Still, he is powerful enough to move inside at the next level, making his position flexibility a significant asset to his overall prospect value.

Super Sleeper

We pick one prospect on the commit list and explain how he might outplay his ranking in college.

Ernest Campbell (5'8, 150) - Refugio: What Campbell lacks in size he makes up with in speed. He posted a blistering 10.22 2A 100-meter dash, the fastest time in the state, regardless of classification at the UIL State Track Championships. Campbell is rated the No. 100 prospect in the state, but his elite speed could make him pop early in his college career.
