Time to cue Bon Jovi - Woah, we're halfway there! Five regular season games down for most teams, only five more to go. Let's see who's standing out at the midway point.

C/O 2025 O-Linemen Stacking Offers (and Pancakes)

Name: Marcus Garcia | School: Denton Ryan | Class: 2025 | Pos.: OL | HT: 6'5" | WT: 250

Garcia is a prospect who is about to blow up with offers. He picked up his first two offers this week (Texas Tech, UTSA) but will be a 20-30 offer prospect. He reminded me of former Coppell star Connor Williams, who played at Texas before moving into the NFL (Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins). Garcia has the perfect frame to get offers at tackle or guard. - Greg Powers

Name: Ty Haywood | School: Denton Ryan | Class: 2025 | Pos.: OL | HT: 6'5" | WT: 275

Haywood has the prototype tackle build, with long arms and a powerful base. He's already known as a national-level talent with over 20 offers, and it's easy to see why. - Greg Powers

Name: Owen Hollenbeck | School: Melissa | Class: 2025 | Pos.: OL | HT: 6'3" | WT: 310

It's hard not to love to watch Hollenbeck. He's tough in the middle of the line and is overwhelmingly strong at the point of attack. He plays with a bit of nasty, so his pancakes are like touchdown plays. He's got a strong early offer list with schools like Texas A&M, Arkansas, Florida and Oklahoma. - Greg Powers

Electric Wide Receivers

Name: Dameon Crowe | School: Richardson Berkner | Class: 2026 | Pos.: WR | HT: 5'7" | WT: 140

The 2026 speedster had a career night on Friday as Berkner ruined Lake Highlands' homecoming with an impressive 55-35 win. Crowe had eight catches for 162 yards and five touchdowns, he displayed elite speed, good hands and is stronger than his frame indicates as he was able to break multiple tackles en route to his five scores. - Matt Stepp

Name: Andrew Marsh | School: Katy Jordan | Class: 2025 | Pos.: WR | HT: 6'1" | WT: 173

Marsh showed why he's one of the state's top receivers in the Class of 2025 in Jordan's 26-8 win over Katy Paetow. He had seven catches for 97 yards and a touchdown and displayed all the attributes of an elite playmaker, good size, speed and hands, Marsh attacks the football in the air and often will come back to the ball to help his QB out. - Matt Stepp

Name: Derrick McFall | School: Tyler | Class: 2024 | Pos.: WR | HT: 5'10" | WT: 175

McFall played a huge part in Tyler's almost-comeback that ended in a 31-26 loss to McKinney North. The UCLA commit had nine receptions for 186 yards and a score. He's going to play running back at the next level, and most of his catches came on screen passes where he made multiple defenders miss for a big gain. He's shifty and fast, a dangerous combination. - Carter Yates

Name: Xavier Green | School: The Colony | Class: 2026 | Pos.: WR | HT: 5'11" | WT: 160

Green is a young receiver who is enjoying a breakout season. He's already picked up P5 offers in basketball, and that D1 athleticism translates to the gridiron. He showed off his vertical ability by climbing the ladder and high-pointing a ball. He's got adequate speed and is plenty shifty. Football will be a college option for him if he wants to pursue it over hoops — either way, he's a lot of fun to watch. - Greg Powers

Have fun trying to tackle these RBs

Name: Deonte Dean | School: Lake Highlands | Class: 2024 | Pos.: RB | HT: 5'11" | WT: 190

Dean, at 5'11" and 190 lbs, packs a punch and runs well behind his pads, he lacks top end speed, but has good vision and displayed the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield as well. Earlier in the year he ran for nearly 400 yards as Lake Highlands upset Highland Park. Friday, in the loss to Berkner, he ran for 118 yards and also caught five passes for 46 yards and a touchdown. - Matt Stepp

Name: Chad Gasper | School: Katy Jordan | Class: 2025 | Pos.: RB | HT: 5'11" | WT: 190

Gasper, a 2025 sleeper RB with offers from Houston, Baylor, Michigan, Kansas and Arizona State packs a punch at 5'11 190, he's got the total package as a RB where he displayed elite short area quickness and the ability to line up wide and catch the ball as well. He finished Saturday's win over Katy Paetow with 83 yards and two touchdowns rushing on 13 carries and he caught four passes for 31 yards. - Matt Stepp

Name: Nathan Adejokun | School: Melissa | Class: 2024 | Pos.: RB | HT: 6'0" | WT: 190

Adejokun had an eye-opening performance, showcasing increased size and power. He was shifty between the tackles, but his added strength was evident as he slipped off tackles, which helped him cash in long touchdown runs. He had 13 carries for 165 yards and three TDs in the first half of the 59-28 win. He's averaging over two more yards per carry compared to 2022. Teams looking for a late-season steal should check out his tape. Army and Navy have offered. - Greg Powers

Edge Defenders giving offenses nightmares

Name: Keiundre Johnson | School: Terrell | Class: 2025 | Pos.: TE/DE | HT: 6'3" | WT: 230

Johnson, who's being recruited mainly as a TE, is primarily playing defense because he has his hand in a complete cast. He's an impressive specimen who instantly sticks out. - Greg Powers

Name: Nigel Smith | School: Melissa | Class: 2024 | Pos.: DE | HT: 6'5" | WT: 250

Smith is a force to be reckoned with. His play up front is integral to the entire defense's success. He's one of those players who shows up and goes to work. He's consistent, dependable, and plays fundamentally sound football. He has powerful hands and can get off of blocks. He chews up blocks, allowing the linebackers to clean up behind him. Smith had some of those 'wow' plays, which you expect from a top-rated prospect. - Greg Powers

Name: Isiah Griffin | School: McKinney North | Class: 2024 | Pos.: OLB | HT: 6'3" | WT: 205

We wrote about McKinney North plenty in last week's edition, so I wasn't hyper-focused on the Bulldogs at first in their matchup with Tyler. But Griffin caught my eye because he was constantly around the football. He blitzed from the outside for sacks. He flew to the flats to tackle a receiver on screens. There wasn't a play out there he didn't think he could make. I was surprised to learn he's not gotten any college offers yet, but that could change as the season wears on. - Carter Yates

DBs that flashed

Name: Marquel Hambric | School: Terrell | Class: 2024 | Pos.: CB | HT: 5'10" | WT: 170

Hambric is a prospect having a strong senior season, and he walked away with another interception in this game. He's a dependable and consistent cornerback committed to Central Arkansas. - Greg Powers

Name: Zachaun Williams | School: Tyler | Class: 2024 | Pos.: CB | HT: 6'0" | WT: 170

Williams had the play of the night for Tyler's defense when he read the QB's eyes perfectly and returned an interception to the house. The score put Tyler behind 31-26 early in the fourth quarter after storming back from a 24-0 deficit. Williams was one of the leaders who stiffened up for a Lions defense that allowed just seven second half points. His offer list includes Arkansas, Colorado and Oklahoma State. - Carter Yates

Name: Deyjhon Pettaway | School: Katy Paetow | Class: 2024 | Pos.: CB | HT: 5'10" | WT: 170

Pettaway, a CB who has been labeled as a speed-only player that tends to avoid contact, proved that label incorrect on Saturday. He displayed the skillset of a complete DB, lining up at both corner and safety, and was never afraid to stick his nose in on run support. Pettaway showed elite cover skills, but is also a sound tackler who switched positions mid-game to help his team. - Matt Stepp
