TCU’s Quentin Johnston named Big 12 offensive player of the week

TCU’s Quentin Johnston won Big 12 offensive player of the week after his performance in the Horned Frogs 38-31 victory over the previously unbeaten Kansas Jayhawks. Johnston had a career-high and team best 14 receptions for 206 yards. Johnston had two thirds of TCU’s receiving yards in the Horned Frogs victory Kansas. His 14 catches which tied for the most by an FBS player this fall and were the most by a TCU receiver since Josh Doctson had 18 catches against Texas Tech in 2015. As TCU continues to rise in the AP Poll rankings, Johnston continues to rise in NFL draft boards. 

Johnston and the Horned Frogs will face their third straight top 25 team this coming Saturday against current top 10 Oklahoma State in Fort Worth at 2:30pm (CT) on ABC.
