Smithson Valley 2027 QB Ty Knutson has announced his commitment to the University of Texas after recieving an offer from coach Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns on January 17th.
Standing at 6'4, 210 lbs, Knutson threw for over 2,600 yards and 29 touchdowns in 2025, leading the Rangers to another 5A-Division I State Title.
Knutson's commitment marks one of the first major dominoes to fall in the Class of 2027, as fans in Austin have plenty to be excited about.
