Frisco Wakeland 2023 OL Connor Stroh (6'7, 345) received his first offer from Texas back on October 16. Stanford offered on March 6. 

In between, he has added 14 other offers from a wide array of impressive programs: Baylor, SMU, Arkansas, Auburn, Cal, Cincinnati, Colorado, Florida State, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan State, Minnesota, Ole Miss and Tennessee. 

The Stanford offer seemed to resonate. Stroh enjoyed a recent unofficial visit to Palo Alto, Calif. 

"I had a great time," Stroh said. "The campus is beautiful, the weather is always nice, and the coaches are great."

Stroh has been building a strong relationship with the UT staff and he will be back in Austin soon to see the program again. 

"I got a really good feeling," Stroh said. "I love Coach (Kyle) Flood a lot. I love coach Sark (Steve Sarkisian). I have a good relationship with some of the players there. They have told me only good things."

Stroh reports that he will be releasing a top five or six list very soon. After that, he will announce his announce a decision on where he will play his college ball. 

But first, he has an important season to play with his Frisco Wakeland teammates. Wakeland went 9-3 last season, and two D1 recruits return on the offensive side of the ball. 

"I am excited for the new year," Stroh said. "I know we are going to do good. Coach Secord is a great man. He's taught me a lot about being good at football and being a good person."

"Talent coming back — we have Tripp Riordan and me, and we will both be big parts of the offense now. We lost a lot of seniors on the defense, but I think our guys will step it up. The good thing is, our quarterback was a sophomore last year. He will only get better this year."
