2019 DE Colt Ellison (Aledo):
Ellison broke onto the recruiting scene playing linebacker but has since grown into a defensive end prospect. Ellison picked TCU over offers from schools like Notre Dame. He plays with a great motor and has great initial quickness and get -off. He knows how to use his hands to create separation and room to clean up tackles. He is one of the state's most aggressive defenders and plays with a throw-back style.

2019 LB Wyatt Harris (Aledo):
Harris played safety before moving into the box fulltime in 2018, and as a result, he has tremendous coverage skills to go with a frame that will continue to hold mass as he grows and matures. He was one of the first commits for TCU in its 2019 class. His style of play should mesh well in the Big 12 where he can help to slow down the fast-paced offenses with his ability to cover up receivers down the field or chasing down running backs in the flats.

2019 OT Marcus Williams (Longview):
The massive offensive tackle missed his junior year due to an ACL injury but has bounced back with a strong senior season protecting his quarterback's blindside as well as setting the edge for a potent rushing attack. Williams committed to TCU back in March of 2018 and has remained loyal to his pledge, which makes sense since the Horned Frogs extended him an offer despite the fact he did not have any junior tape to evaluate.

2019 QB/S Josh Foster (Newton):
Foster's future may be in the defensive backfield, but he is Newton's quarterback and he directs a prolific offense. Foster has the Eagles entering the state title game on a 29 game winning streak. As a QB, he is a dangerous runner but he will flip over and play defense when his team needs him, so TCU fans may have a chance to evaluate his performance there as well. Newton will be without star Tamauzia Brown (also a TCU commit), so Foster's performance will be integral.

2019 RB Darwin Barlow (Newton):
Barlow is one of the strongest running back prospects in the nation and easily runs through arm tackles. Additionally, Barlow has the speed to get to the edge and is agile enough in the open field to make defenders miss. Newton has a great offense but controlling the football against Canadian will be a key, as the Wildcats average 41 points per game in the march to the title game. TCU fans will probably be buzzing about the way this kid looks in the pads because he will be one of the most physically imposing prospects regardless of class or school size.
