Jalen Catalon, a 5-foot-9, 190-pound safety prospect from Mansfield Legacy announced a final four of Arkansas, Oklahoma, TCU, and Texas earlier this week.
Catalon had previosuly reported a top eight, but schools like Alabama, Clemson, Nebraska, and Ohio State were trimmed.
Catalon confirmed with TexasFootball.com that he will be taking his first official visit to Oklahoma (4-0) this weekend for the Sooners match-up with Baylor (3-1).
"OU is an official," Catalon confirmed.
Catalon, who is a consensus four-star prospect and a 2017 TexasFootball.com Super Team selection, suffered a season-ending ACL injury in an opening game loss to Jenks (Okla.).
Despite the setback on the field, Catalon is thankful for the schools that have stuck firmly by his side.
"(The) injury definitely has been tough but I’ve learned that everything happens for a reason, and it’s just a blessing to know my colleges are still sticking with me," Catalon explained.
As a sophomore, Catalon was named Class 5A AP Defensive Player of the Year. His junior year Catalon was named as the District 10-5A overall MVP.
