Breaking down TCU's 2026 recruiting class.

Class Grade: B

TCU’s class has talent at every position. While it ranks just outside the Top 40 nationally, the haul gives plenty of reason for optimism in the coming seasons, highlighted by 10 players from the DCTX Rising 100 who could make a significant impact on the future.

Three Key Additions

Who were the highest-rated signees or prospects who might come in and make a significant impact?

DE Carter Buck (6'5, 250) - Lake Travis: Buck plays with a relentless motor and uses quick hands and leverage to live in the backfield. A true tone-setter on defense, he disrupts plays before they start and commands constant attention from blockers. His energy and strength make him one of the state's most disruptive defenders. "He's the best defensive player we've ever had," Lake Travis head coach Hank Carter said.

DB Jason Bradford (6'3, 195) - Temple: Bradford's height and length give him a physical advantage that sets him apart from other defensive backs. He has experience at safety and corner and could play either position in college. On the island, he shows the rare ability to sink his hips and stay tight in coverage against the fastest receivers, giving him the tools to excel in one-on-one battles.

DE Jesse Ford (6'4, 235) - Arlington Martin: Ford brings edge-setting power and the long-framed traits college coaches covet, blending run-stuffing grit with pass-rush upside. He missed his senior year with an injury, but his foundation suggests a future strongside anchor who can set the edge and close pockets with force.

Hometown Hero

What prospect was a fan favorite or a local hero who starred near the campus?

WR Ayson Theus (5'8, 165) - Duncanville: Theus has been a star in the Duncanville offense, and his versatility as a slot receiver should make him a player who has the chance to get involved heavily in Fort Worth. His explosiveness is his best trait.

Super Sleeper

We pick one prospect on the commit list and explain how he might outplay his ranking in college.

RB G'Ivori Graham (5'9, 185) - San Antonio Harlan: Graham blends all-purpose abilities out of the backfield with sub-4.40 40-yard dash speed. Harlan has emerged as a powerhouse in San Antonio, but he is still overlooked by many. The 1-2 punch of Graham and Port Arthur Memorial RB Amante Martin can set the table for that offense for years to come.
