The Texas A&M commit was our preseason pick for Offensive MVP in the entire state. Edwards is ranked No. 6 overall in the 2026 DCTX Rising 100, making him the top in-state running back to commit to the Aggies since Rueben Owens in 2023. He is also the No. 3 RB in A&M's DCTF-era history (2012-present). Edwards has already rushed for 4,030 yards and 54 touchdowns in his Texas high school career.
Top Underclassman: 2027 WR Alvin Mosley (6'3, 190) – Fort Bend Crawford
Mosley is a bona fide two-sport athlete with football and basketball offers. On the football side, he holds 20+ offers, including Houston, SMU, TCU, Texas, Texas Tech, Arkansas and Florida State, thanks to his down-the-field playmaking and high-pointing skills. He posted more than 800 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns as a sophomore.
Breakout Candidate: 2027 OL Ismael Camara (6'5, 350) - Gilmer
Gilmer’s monster rodagrater hasn’t played a varsity snap, but his 7-foot-1 wingspan, raw power and massive frame have already put him on the recruiting map. A native of Le Mans, France, he moved to Gilmer just over a year ago. Despite sitting out varsity last season, he’s stacked 25-plus offers from programs like Texas, Texas A&M, Alabama, Oklahoma and more.
