Jefferson (6-2, 3-0) at Tatum (5-3, 3-0):
It’s a battle in the Piney Woods for the district title as Jefferson heads a few miles west to take on Tatum.
Jefferson took down Gladewater, 42-35, a week ago as QB E.J. Burns threw for 212 yards and three touchdowns, while Kenneth Ross tallied 19 tackles and a pair of interceptions, returning one for a touchdown.
Tatum won a shootout over Sabine last week knocking off the Cardinals, 56-34, as junior QB Cole Watson ran for 192 yards and three touchdowns and added in 106 yards through the air and two touchdowns as well.
This one will be a shootout, but the edge goes to Tatum at home.
