After an incredible 27-year run as the head football coach at his alma mater, Pete Wesp announced his retirement at Universal City Randolph on Friday. Wesp, who posted a 141-141 overall record, navigated the challenges of coaching at a school located on a military installation (Randolph AFB) and consistently had the Ro-Hawks in playoff contention year after year.

His best season came in 2003 when he led RHS to a 10-3 overall mark and an appearance in the regional semifinals.
