The Dave Campbell's Impactful Leadership Award Archive

The Dave Campbell’s Impactful Leadership Award presented by First National Bank of Omaha will recognize 10 influential Texas high school football athletes who are leaders both on and off the playing field.

2022

Week 1

Elijah is a part of our leadership council in which he was nominated by his peers. This past year he has participated in "Feed the Hungry" and "BedStart" community service projects. Elijah is also a consistent and vocal leader on the team. He plays many roles and positions such as quarterback and wide receiver while maintaining a 3.79 GPA.

 

Week 2

Dylan is a fierce competitor on and off the field. He attacks everything with 110% effort. He is 5'5" 155 lbs, but he carries himself like he is 6'6" 225 lbs. His teammates listen and respond well to his leadership. He encourages his peers to better themselves and take their talents to the next level. 

 

Week 3

Congratulations to Kameron Jones from Plano Senior Highschool for being the recipient of the Impactful Leadership Award presented by First National Bank of Omaha!

 

Week 4

Congratulations to Austin Guadreau from Frisco Memorial High school for being the recipient of the Impactful Leadership Award presented by First National Bank of Omaha!

 

Week 5

Congratulations to Seth Bahsoon from Frisco Panther Creek High school for being the recipient of the Impactful Leadership Award presented by First National Bank of Omaha!

 

WEEK 6

Congratulations to Joshua Goines from Frisco Reedy High School for being the recipient of the Impactful Leadership Award presented by First National Bank of Omaha!

 

WEEK 7

Congratulations to Vance Feuerbacher from Plano West High School for being the recipient of the Impactful Leadership Award presented by First National Bank of Omaha!

WEEK 9

Congratulations to Donovan Woolen from Frisco Wakeland High School for being the recipient of the Impactful Leadership Award presented by First National Bank of Omaha!

WEEK 10

2021

Week 1

Jarrod is known in the community for being an over-achiever. He is loved in Anna and does his best to love everyone back. He will pick students and teammates up when they don’t have rides, he invites them over to his house, and typically always feeds them. Jarrod doesn’t pick kids based on their race and religion. He just sees a need and fills it.

Week 2

Student Council, Country and Western dance team captain, Bass Fishing club co-founder and captain, Football team captain (2yrs), Carry the Load volunteer, NHS, Church Youth Group, Mission Trips, AP Scholar, 4.12 GPA, 17th in his class, 1st team All District Receiver

Week 3

Horace Bradshaw is a Senior Wide Receiver for the Golden Bears. He is a very proactive community member as he is known for lending a helping hand whenever possible. The Bradshaw family has strong ties with the SOC Community as they are mostly all Golden Bear Graduates. Through the pandemic, this past year has been difficult for the entire State, Country, and World. Horace and the Bradshaw family did their part to help fellow community members schedule and transport them to vaccine appointments.

Week 4

Jadarian Price is a Senior Running Back for the Denison Yellowjackets. He is a Boys and Girls club Volunteer every summer and Commited to Notre Dame. Jadarian has a 4.46 GPA amd will be an early graduate to report in South Bend.

Week 5

Tanner Call is a Senior Defensive Lineman for the McKinney Lions. He is the definition of a leader as a man of faith, a strong character, and a great work ethic. Tanner helps where he can and is known for offering rides and picking kids up that need help. He plans on serving our country and playing football at the next level at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.

Week 6


Jake Hermes, Class of 2022. Jake is a 4 Sport athlete (Football, Basketball, Baseball, Track) Jake also helps at his parents farm, is a Lifeguard at City pool, active in his church, and part of the Elementary School reading program. Jake is a great on field leader, and is basically an extra coach for our staff. When he leads; others follow.

WEEK 7

Cole Hutson, is a great kid and a great leader. You can tell the character of a student how they act in the hallways, and Cole is the standard. He is very respectful . Cole is one of the leaders for the Student Sections of all the sports. He is just a kid that you want to be a part of your team and your community.

WEEK 8

Carter Mortensen is special to the Melissa Community. He is a student at the High School, and a member of the Football Team, but cannot participate. Carter has CMT (Charcot-Marie-Tooth disorder) which does not allow him to play sports, but that does not stop him from being a part of the team. He is at every practice, runs all the sprints and particiaptes in all the drills. Carter has not missed a single day of summer strength & conditioning program. He is the definition of a leader and the Cardinals couldn't imagine a team without him. This past season, the team actually intergrated a CMT Awareness sticker for him on their helmets as a part of their uniforms.  Carter is the best encourgaer and the best teammate.

WEEK 9

Isiah Smith, everyone calls him "Budah" is apart of the Mequite Skeeters football program. He is known for the many roles he plays though as he volunteers throughout the community and plays a very active role in youth church.  Budah volunteers and helps other sports during practice and even gave up his summer to football and to help girls basketball. Volunteered at the local food pantry every week in the summer. He is the definition of a servant leader.

WEEK 10

Marcus Harbert is a Senior for the Wylie East Raiders. He is a Team Captain for the Football Team, the Leo Club Treasurer and a member of many other prgrams including, STUCO, TAFE, Speech & Debate Team, & National Honor Society.
