A total of 46 prospects who played college football in Texas were invited to the NFL Draft Combine, which takes place Feb. 23 through March 2 in Indianapolis. The 46 invitees represent over 14 percent of the 319 players expected to attend the camp. Last year, 28 Texas college football players were invited.
Two of the players are from the Non-FBS level with UIW WR Jalen Walthall and SFA DB Charles Demmings planning to attend. Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and Texas lead the FBS teams in invites.
