A look at six major TXHSFB prospects who have announced their intentions on social media to play for different programs in 2026.
2027 CB John Meredith III (6-2, 175) – North Crowley
Meredith is pulling up to North Crowley and immediately stepping into one of the deepest secondaries in the state. The Under Armour All-American brings rare length and true lockdown ability, giving the Panthers another corner who can erase an entire side of the field. Every major program is involved, with Texas, Texas A&M and Ohio State among the early heavyweights.
2029 WR Sukora Cooper Jr. (6-1, 180) – Frisco Panther Creek
Panther Creek may be moving up to 5A Division II, but Cooper makes sure the offense doesn’t skip a beat. One of the breakout stars of the 2025 season, Cooper piled up more than 2,500 total yards and 25 touchdowns. National attention followed quickly, with early offers from SMU, Texas A&M, Georgia, Penn State, Oregon and more.
2028 TE Sloan Blackwell (6-5, 225) – Hewitt Midway
Blackwell arrives at Midway already on the radar after turning heads at the Texas State 7-on-7 and during Lorena’s Rising Game of the Week matchup against Lampasas. The younger brother of Baylor defensive lineman Jackson Blackwell brings size, mobility, and upside to the tight end room, with early offers from UTSA and Syracuse.
2027 ATH Hakim Frampton (6-0, 170) – San Antonio Brandeis
After stops in Arkansas and California, Frampton is officially home. The Texas A&M commit makes his Texas debut at Brandeis as a Navy All-American Bowl selection and 247Sports Composite four-star. Frampton has experience playing wide receiver and defensive back.
2029 WR Zach Williams (5-9, 160) – Allen
Williams arrives at Allen already battle-tested after a breakout freshman season at Bishop Lynch, where he hauled in 70 catches for 1,142 yards and 13 touchdowns. The rising star already holds Power Four offers from Baylor, Ole Miss and Kentucky and will pair with 2029 QB Ty Snell and 2028 WR Josyah Johnson to form a dangerous young trio.
2027 RB Tristan Willis (5-9, 200) – Sheldon C.E. King
C.E. King’s ground game isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Willis joins a backfield that already features 2027 standouts Antwon Sanders and Ahrian Montgomery, keeping the Panthers among the state’s deepest rushing attacks. With offers from TCU, Kansas, Kansas State, Cal, Illinois, Arizona State, Missouri, Purdue, and more, Willis adds another college-ready piece to a strong rotation that will be replacing Rice-bound star Dionne Sims.
Note: All transfers are subject to UIL review for varsity athletics participation.
