It was one of the most thrilling games of the 2025 Texas high school football season so far as Rockwall delivered in the final two minutes of the game to take down state-wide powerhouse North Crowley.

2028 Rockwall WR Ryan Wiley (5'11, 170) scored the game-sealing touchdown with 22 seconds left on the clock. He finished the night with five receptions for 85 yards and two touchdowns, including his breakout moment that should help double an already impressive FBS offer list that includes North Texas, SMU, UTEP, Pitt, San Diego State and Tulsa.

Q: Ryan, take me through the final two minutes of the game. Talk about your game-winning touchdown to seal the win for Rockwall.

Ryan Wiley: "First of all, I just thank God. He put me in a position to make a play, and when He does that, I'm unstoppable. My coaches trusted me, I trusted myself, the fans trusted me. I had to go get it done."

Q: What was the mindset like on the sideline during those final minutes? You guys looked hyped up but focused.
A: "We were calm, but we had to stay poised. We had to get the job done. Our coach always tells us to just keep playing, no matter what."

Q: Rockwall has a strong tradition of talent at the wide receiver position—Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Noble Johnson, and currently Jack Duckworth. Are you the next one in line?
A: "God willing, that’s all I gotta say."

Q: And how many offers are you currently holding?
A: "Currently at eight offers."

Q: Which programs have offered you so far?
A: "San Diego State, North Texas, Pitt, UTEP, SMU, Howard Payne, Tulsa, and Sacramento State."

Q: Any of those stand out to you more than the others?
A: "Pony Up!"

Q: Have you had the chance to visit SMU yet?
A: "Yes ma’am, I have. I love it. The atmosphere is great. I know a bunch of the coaches—and it’s home, so I’d love to be there."

Q: You guys are now 2–2 on the season after what could be a season-changing win. Does this win shift the momentum and mindset moving forward?
A: "Yes ma’am. It shows that we can really get it done. But no matter what, we have to keep on keeping on. Those games don’t matter—we’re in district play now. Gotta get it done. Road to state."
