Report: Texas finalizing deal to name Rodney Terry head coach

The University of Texas is set to name interim head coach Rodney Terry as its next men's basketball head coach, per Jon Rothstein. 

Multiple reports, including Stadium's Jeff Goodman, said that athletic director Chris Del Conte was scheduled to meet with Terry following Texas' loss in the Elite Eight to Miami, 88-81, to offer Terry the full-time job. Texas made its first Elite Eight since 2008 under Terry, who was named interim head coach in January following the suspension of Chris Beard.
