Garland Lakeview Centennial CB Montre Jackson (6'1, 175) has announced the top eight programs in the hunt for his commitment, and four in-state programs made the cut: SMU, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Duke, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and Tennessee.

Jackson recently visited Austin for the Longhorns’ Junior Day and later scheduled an official visit from June 5-7. He plans to finalize the rest of his official visit schedule in the near future.

The DCTX four-star is a member of the 2027 Five-Star Watchlist; five stars are awarded for all prospects who rate within the state's top five prospects. As a junior, Jackson earned 9-6A First-Team All-District honors after collecting 20 tackles, 9 PBUs, and an interception. He only allowed three catches all season.

In addition to being a standout on the gridiron, Jackson is also a member of the National Honor Society.

Jackson is one of the five most offered prospects in Texas, boasting 42 FBS-level offers.
