Legacy the School of Sport Sciences 2026 QB Keisean Henderson (6-foot-4, 180 pounds) is off to a dominant start to his senior season, reinforcing his position as the No. 1 overall prospect in Texas in the 2026 DCTX Rising 100.

The Houston commit has racked up 1,119 yards and scored 12 touchdowns in only two games, demonstrating why he's considered an evolutionary recruit for the Cougars.

Henderson quickly deflected his praise to credit his team for his early-season success.

"It reflects the hard work my team put in over the offseason, spring, and summer. I couldn't have done it without them," Henderson said.

"We don't focus on numbers; we focus on results. Talk is cheap, action is expensive. I rely on my teammates and the brotherhood we've built to handle pressure and perform consistently."

Under the guidance of Legacy HC Michael Bishop, a former All-American quarterback at Kansas State, Henderson has focused on work ethic and mindset.

"Coach teaches the importance of consistent work and staying humble even when things get loud. He's helped me maintain a strong mindset and focus on improving every day," Henderson said.

Coach Bishop echoed the sentiment, emphasizing Henderson's influence both on and off the field. "Keisean is in a position where I can guide him through ups and downs of football and life. He's a great player on the field, always giving credit to his teammates, and off the field, he's an outstanding character who sets an example for others," Bishop said.

"He genuinely cares about others, which separates him from other top-ranked players."

Henderson's commitment to Houston is historic for the program. He's the highest-rated prospect to ever commit to the Cougars, edging out Buffalo Bills DL Ed Oliver.

He's consistently reaffirmed his commitment to the Cougars and feels like the hometown program provides him the platform for growth and continuity at the next level.

"The atmosphere, the people, and the culture," Henderson stated when asked about his fit at UH. "I want to be a program changer, and Houston provides the perfect environment with the support system I need."

Henderson was the MVP of the 2025 Navy All-American Bowl, was named a DCTX five-star and selected as a member of the Preseason DCTX Whataburger Super Team.
