"Hello, I would like to nominate Emma Burris for the Dave Campbell’s Texas Football senior spotlight.

"Emma is a 4 year starter on the varsity softball team for East View high school in Georgetown. In this very short season, her batting average was .375 and she had hit 4 homeruns and leads the team with 15 RBIs.

"Emma has committed to playing softball for The University of St. Thomas Houston. She has a 4.0 GPA and is currently ranked 11th in her class. Emma has played year round softball since she was 7 years old and so missing this last season in high school has been tough but we look forward to seeing her play in college. 

"Thank you for recognizing seniors during this difficult time."
