The Dave Campbell’s Texas Football All-Texas College Teams include players from 12 of the 13 FBS programs in the Lone Star State.

The lists, which include a first and second team on offense and defense, consists of 54 players – 28 on offense and 26 on defense. The Texas Longhorns led with 19 selections, while Texas A&M (9) and Texas Tech (8) were second and third, respectively.

Of the 54 selections, only seven are from the G5 ranks as the transfer portal provides an avenue for the top players with experience and production to move up to the Power Four level. Only Rice and Texas State – with two selections each – topped more than one player on the list. Sam Houston lost head coach K.C. Keeler and a bevy of top performers from last season’s 10-win team and did not get a player on the lists.
