Three Texas high school quarterbacks will compete at this year's prestigious showcase, held in California- further proof that the Lone Star State remains the nation's premier quarterback factory.
All three punched their tickets to the finals, powered by a strong showing at the Elite 11 regional stop in Dallas.
Three of the last five Elite 11 MVPs have come from Texas: Denton Guyer's Jackson Arnold, Austin Westlake's Cade Klubnik and Duncanville's Keelon Russell.
No. 1 Kavian Bryant - Palestine Westwood
The Texas Tech commit threw for 3,407 yards and 37 touchdowns while adding 740 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground, earning District 9-3A Division I Offensive MVP Honors.
No. 2 Colton Nussmeier - Denton Ryan
Nussmeier threw for 1,390 yards and 12 touchdowns while adding 278 yards and three touchdowns on the ground, earning First-Team All-District Honors in 5-6A while only playing a portion of the season due to an ACL injury. Programs like Arkansas, Georgia and UCLA are in the mix for his commitment.
No. 4 Ty Knutson - Smithson Valley
The Texas commit threw for over 2,600 yards and 29 touchdowns while also rushing for five touchdowns, earning Second-Team All-District Honors in 13-5A Division I. He led the Rangers to the 5A DI state title.
