WR Rush Williams (2029) – Katy Jordan: Named the DCTX overall MVP thanks to his immense upside and potential. Williams has a huge catch radius, runs smooth routes and has the frame to overpower smaller defenders. He already holds offers from Houston, Kentucky, Oregon, SMU and Texas Tech and projects as one of the nation’s top prospects.
WR Jaylen Addai (2028) – Shadow Creek: One of the top overall performers regardless of class. Addai was among the best route runners in attendance and, at times, overwhelmed defensive backs. The son of former LSU star Joseph Addai already has the nation’s top programs in pursuit and looks like a future headliner in the 2028 rankings.
WR Braelyn Allen (2029) – San Antonio Johnson: The 2029 class looks loaded with pass catchers, and Allen brings one of the most complete skill sets. He thrived in the camp setting because of his polish and all-around ability. Allen already posted a 1,000-yard season as a freshman and holds offers from Baylor, Miami, TCU, Texas Tech and SMU.
TE Noah Tarrant (2029) – El Paso Pebble Hills: Tarrant first caught our attention at the State 7-on-7 tournament in College Station last year, where he was already a varsity starter. He has added impressive size to an already promising frame and currently holds double-digit offers, including SMU, TCU, Texas Tech, LSU and Texas A&M.
WR Peyton Smith (2028) – La Porte: A tall receiver with a knack for making difficult plays look easy. Smith had several “wow” moments during one-on-one drills and likely would have had a couple more if a few passes hadn’t been just out of reach. Baylor, TCU, Texas Tech, Nebraska, Arizona State and Florida State headline his early offer list.
WR/TE Sterling Finney III (2028) – Willis: This was our first chance to see the electric pass catcher in person, and he passed the test with flying colors. Finney is quick in and out of his breaks with excellent acceleration and twitch. It’s easy to see why he already holds more than 30 offers, including Baylor, Texas Tech, Florida State, Georgia and Stanford.
DL RJ Wyms (2028) – The Woodlands College Park: One of the most dominant underclassmen at the event. Wyms is explosive with heavy hands and looks like a future nationally recruited interior defender. He already holds offers from TCU, Texas Tech, Houston, Arizona and more.
OL Ty McCurry (2028) – Southlake Carroll: Picked up an offer from Texas to go along with Baylor, TCU and SMU less than 24 hours after a strong camp showing where he earned a spot in the Top 5 offensive linemen. McCurry continues to improve every time he steps on the field and should bolster an already strong Southlake Carroll offensive line in 2026.
LB Reagan Smith (2028) – Pflugerville Weiss: A big, strong defender with multi-positional versatility as an outside linebacker/defensive end. Smith worked out at linebacker during the camp, and it’s rare to see a player of his size move as fluidly as he does.
DL Kingston Rodgers (2028) – Royse City: Backed up a strong showing at the Under Armour Camp with another impressive performance here, earning a spot in the Top 5. His camp run suggests that his offer list could explode in the near future.
DL Royce McIntosh-Houston (2028) – C.E. King: Many may remember his name from the state semifinal game when he returned a screen pass for a pick-six to send the Panthers to state. His quickness was difficult for offensive linemen to handle during one-on-one drills.
LB Khalen Taylor (2028) – Ridge Point: Passes the eye test as a physically developed prospect. Taylor already holds an offer from Houston and has the frame of a classic thumper, but he also showed the ability to play in coverage, which adds to his projection.
DB Denim Steed (2028) – Stafford: Was solid in the one-on-ones, showing he has what it takes to provide sticky coverage against elite competition. Steed already holds early offers from Houston, Texas State and UTSA.
DL Brian Orakpo Jr. (2028) – Lake Travis: Punched his ticket to Sunday’s camp after a strong showing at Saturday’s combine. It should only be a matter of time before the son of former Texas Longhorns legend Brian Orakpo begins collecting scholarship offers.
OL Jake Seay (2028) – Somerset: Looks like a player built to mash defenders and stack pancake blocks. While that’s harder to show in a camp setting, Seay was still one of the few linemen who consistently pushed defenders backward during one-on-one drills.
