Richmond Randle five-star RB Landen Williams-Callis (5'8, 190) announced his commitment to Texas over Missouri, Texas A&M, SMU and Houston during a special LIVE commitment ceremony. 

With more than 70 scholarship offers, Williams-Callis is the most-offered prospect in the Lone Star State. He also recently appeared on the gatefold cover of Dave Campbell's Texas Football magazine, becoming the first solo player featured on the cover since Cedric Benson in 2000.

Rated as the No. 1 running back in Texas by DCTX, Williams-Callis is one of the nation's most accomplished backs. He helped lead Richmond Randle to back-to-back state championship game appearances, including the program's first state title in 2025.

"Landen is going to play in the NFL. Landen is going to play football as long as he wants to play football," Richmond Randle head coach Brian Randle said. "He's not the tallest kid, so he plays with a chip on his shoulders. Super strong. Super fast.

As a junior, Williams-Callis rushed for 3,502 yards and 59 touchdowns, earning the Built Ford Tough 5A Player of the Year award. Over three varsity seasons, he has amassed more than 8,200 all-purpose yards and 132 total touchdowns.

The DCTX five-star was also named to the Preseason DCTX + Whataburger Super Team as the Preseason Offensive Player of the Year.

He's equally special away from the field. 

"I have known that kid since he was in the fifth grade," Randle said. "He's got such an old soul. He's a genuine human being and like a great person. Some people get all of the accolades, and they are kind of a turd, but not this kid."
