Hayes blends tackling ability, coverage skills, and an 'outwork everybody' mindset that will make him one of the most heavily recruited defenders in Texas in the 2028 cycle.
As a sophomore, Hayes-Roberts collected 72 tackles, eight TFLs, one interception and two PBUs to earn 5-5A DI Defensive Newcomer of the Year honors.
