Five stars. Five days. Five future faces of Texas football.
Welcome to "Five-Star Week," presented by Dick's Sporting Goods, where Dave Campbell's Texas Football will count down the top five players in the Class of 2027 with one five-star revealed each day.
The countdown started on Monday with Argyle Liberty Christian OLB Cooper Witten and continues with the most dominant 2027 offensive lineman in the Lone Star State — Kennedy Brown.
Brown is a 6-foot-5, 290-pound blindside protector with the wingspan and length to stick at tackle and the power to slide inside, providing versatility and proven production. He should remind TXHSFB fans of former Texas Longhorns star Kelvin Banks, who just happens to be the last five-star from Humble ISD.
With an 89-inch wingspan and 11-and-a-half-inch hands, he checks every measurable you want to see when projecting a future first-round NFL Draft pick.
Brown has more than 40 scholarship offers, making him one of the five most offered prospects in the state. Texas, Texas A&M, LSU and Tennessee are currently considered frontrunners in his recruitment.
