The Headliners...
2027 WR Tre Moore (6'3, 200): One of the highest-rated wide receivers nationally, Moore has collected over 40 scholarship offers, including Texas, Texas A&M and LSU. As a junior, Moore established himself as a stat-producing monster, collecting 85 receptions for 1,443 yards and 19 touchdowns to earn 12-5A DI Offensive MVP honors. He is a true outside receiver with the size, strength and playmaking ability to dominate at the next level and beyond.
2028 LB Tylan Henderson (6'1, 210): Henderson emerged onto the recruiting radar early on in his career playing wide receiver, but a position switch to linebacker has powered his rise to becoming a DCTX four-star and helped him secure over 10 scholarship offers, including Baylor, Texas A&M, SMU and Ohio State. Henderson is an athletic linebacker who provides tight coverage and quick bursts of speed, helping him close on the ball carrier in a flash. What really sends a message to college scouts is a tackler's willingness and cold-bloodedness. He plays fearlessly and arrives at the ball with bad intentions. Henderson earned 12-5A DI First-Team All-District honors.
2028 QB Jaxon Schad (5'11, 170): Schad set a school record with 3,627 passing yards and 51 touchdowns, placing him among the national leaders in his class. He plays with a confidence that is rare for a young leader, likely bolstered by the extensive experience he gained getting valuable reps as a freshman. He will enter his junior season as one of the most battle-tested quarterbacks in 2028, and he already has a double-digit offer list including Texas Tech, Houston, SMU and more. Schad earned 12-5A DI First-Team All-District honors.
On The Rise...
2027 LB Noah McPeak (6'0, 195): A highly productive piece of the Weiss defense, it was almost a shock to learn that he only holds one offer from UTEP in the early going. McPeak collected 148 tackles and 25 TFLs to earn 12-5A DI First-Team All-District honors. He is always around the football, and the Weiss coaches rave about his impact and upside. He's flying under the radar currently, but don;t be surprised if he starts picking up more offers sooner than later.
2027 WR Jordan Frohock (6'2, 195): Frohock missed his junior season due to UIL transfer rules, but he has still collected early offers from UTSA, Colorado State, Nebraska, Oklahoma State and Tulsa. Heading into the 2026 season, Weiss boasts an extremely deep receiving unit, but Frohock is a secret weapon waiting to put the TXHSFB world on notice.
"I’d say I’m the fastest person on the team (verified 21+ MPH on tape in pads)," Frohock said. "My quickness, route running, snapping things off really well and getting in and out of my breaks — that’s all there. I think that’s what people are really going to find out this season."
2027 ATH Audric Williams (6'3, 200): Williams is another talented prospect who missed the 2025 varsity season after moving in from Austin McNeil. While he has been used mostly as a wide receiver throughout his early career, he has the ability and frame to be recruited as a safety as well, and we expect he will get reps on both sides of the ball in 2026. He quickly passes the eye test, and that has helped him secure early offers from Texas State, UTSA and Colorado State.
2028 DE/OLB Reagan Smith (6'3, 210): He possesses rare downhill closing speed on the edge, so it’s no surprise that he has already secured early offers from Houston, Texas State, and UTSA. That being said, he is only starting to scratch the surface of his recruiting potential, as he is hearing from a wide array of top-tier programs. It’s only a matter of time before they join the race with offers. Smith earned 12-5A DI First-Team All-District honors.
2028 WR Jordan Anderson (6'0, 170): Tre Moore was not the only wideout to rack up over 1,000 yards as Anderson emerged as one of the area's top threats after collecting 1,268 receiving yards and 17 total touchdowns to be named 12-5A DI's Offensive Newcomer of the Year. North Texas, Texas State, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State and Tulsa have already offered, and more are on the horizon.
2029 OL Cade Miller (6'3, 270): An impressive freshman who has already secured four D1 offers, including three in one day from SMU, Kentucky and UTSA. Texas State was No. 4. Miller was a rare day one starter on the Weiss offensive front, which speaks to his upside and potential. He got better week by week, and by the time he leaves the program, he should be well established as one of the state's top offensive linemen and is hopeful to carry on an All-American tradition up front that was established by 2026 Texas Tech signee Jerald "JJ" Mays. Miller racked up 20 pancake blocks as a freshman.
"I started immediately," Miller said. "I showed up late over the summer, so I was working with the twos at first, but I earned my varsity spot. I showed up to film every day, worked my butt off, earned the coaches’ respect, and I never missed a game. I never came out. First rep, first game (McNeil) — I started."
2029 DT Jarell Scott (5'11, 285): After Scott was inserted as the starting nose guard, he helped limit opposing rushing attacks and become a force that had to be reckoned with. He is strong at the point of attack and plays with good leverage, which makes him a player that offenses have to gameplan around, and with all that talent flying around on the backend, the Wolves' defense looks primed to be one of the state's best units next year. Scott was named as the 12-5A DI Defensive Newcomer of the Year and attended the Navy National Combine as well as unofficial visits to programs like Oklahoma, SMU and Texas.
