Carthage 2026 RB KJ Edwards (5'9, 185) had a dominant showing in the 4A Division II Texas high school football state championship game, rushing for 153 yards and two touchdowns in a 49-21 win over West Orange-Stark.

After the game, Edwards was named Offensive MVP for the second consecutive year.

Now he is all set to begin his career at Texas A&M.
