2028 WR Jordan Anderson - Pflugerville Weiss

There may not have been a bigger stock-up performance we saw over the past two weeks than Anderson’s. He earned Player of the Game honors after hauling in 10 receptions for 141 yards and a touchdown, while adding two remarkable one-handed catches, including one that was called back for holding.

Anderson is extremely athletic and makes tough plays look easy, flashing strong hands and quick-twitch athleticism. He already holds 20-plus offers, including Houston, TCU, Texas Tech, Colorado, Oklahoma State and Washington, but don’t be surprised if another wave of elite programs comes calling.

2029 DE Ezarian Fields - Galena Park North Shore

The 6-foot-5, 215-pounder is next in line at North Shore, and he is already a force on the field, consistently using his burst and long arms to make life uncomfortable for offenses. Programs like Houston, SMU, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Ohio State, LSU and more have already offered.

"Fields is gonna be, one of those guys for us," said North Shore head coach Willie Gaston. "You think of the twitch that he has like a K'Lavon Chaisson or a Dorrance Armstrong, who are both teammates right now for the Washington Commanders.”

2028 S Gavin George - Red Oak

The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder set a school record with 18 tackles in a win over Arlington and flies around the field making plays against the run and pass. George is a high-energy defender with great range and a ball-hawking style. He holds an offer from Colorado State but has clear P4 upside and shouldn’t fly under the radar for long.

2029 LB Cash Hines - Klein

Hines, a 6'4 lean and rangy athlete, displayed the traits that make him one of the state's most intriguing prospects. Lining up at OLB much of the night and covering receivers in space, Hines displayed good instincts in pass coverage and the ability to flip his hips, turn and run in coverage. In the box, Hines showed a willingness to get in the muck, take on bigger players, and display solid tackling technique. He had an incredible one-handed interception, returning it 50 yards up the sidelines for a 50-yard touchdown. Hines flipped over to offense and caught a short pass and turned it into a 26-yard gain that would set up an important Klein score in a close 28-21 win over Magnolia. -- Matt Stepp

2027 DT Jason Johnson - Humble Atascocita

The Texas Longhorns had a strong game in a losing effort, showing off some athleticism in a 6-foot-4, 290-pound frame. He has the power to chew up blocks, but his get-off and motor allow him to chase plays down and make plays behind the line of scrimmage.

2028 RB Jayshawn Mitchell

Mitchell, who just a few days before Brennan's 49-0 Week 4 victory over San Antonio Sotomayor picked up a Georgia offer and earned DCTX four-star honors, showed why he's one of the state's top prospects in a dominant win. Mitchell ran for three scores and also made a sensational one-handed 55-yard touchdown reception to help Brennan improve to 3-1 on the season. Mitchell has game-breaking speed, good vision and a true running back build. Still, his most unique skill set is as a receiver, where he's capable of lining up as a true receiver, displaying good hands and extremely advanced route-running ability. -- Matt Stepp

2029 QB Caleb Rhodes - Mesquite

Rhodes is part of a deep sophomore class at Mesquite High that has multiple potential FBS prospects. In the Skeeters' 14-13 upset win over West Mesquite, Rhodes came of age with several clutch plays on the game-winning drive. Rhodes finished with 172 yards of offense and two touchdowns on the ground. He still needs to develop as a passer, but he showed touch on the deep ball, poise, great feel in the pocket and elite ability to run the ball when called upon. -- Matt Stepp

2028 WR Tano Wooten - Killeen Shoemaker

Wooten showed up in a big way, hauling in two touchdown catches and emerging as a big-time playmaker that 2028 QB Reshard “RJ” Hicks can lean on in the passing game. At 6-foot-1, 200 pounds, Wooten has good size and showed the ability to go up and attack the football at its highest point. His strong showing earned him a fresh offer from Colorado, joining Arizona State, Washington, UTSA and more.
