Keidric Osunde-Brown: “We just came together as a team. We worked really hard and put in the work day in and day out. When it was crunch time tonight, we just went out there and played ball like we know how to do.”

Q: Back-to-back, outright District 8-6A champions for the first time in school history has a nice ring to it. How does it feel?

A: “It feels great being a part of both district championships. We’ve worked really hard for it. I know it’s all in God’s plan, and I am just thankful for this opportunity.”

Q: Coach Joseph Sam said one of the highlights he saw from the offense was your ability to keep the clock running. Talk about the offensive performance tonight.

A: “It wasn’t the prettiest thing, but when the opportunity came, we drove the ball down the field and put us in the best position we could be in. The defense came in, and they were getting stops as well.”

Q: You finished the night with 11 catches for 113 yards and moved the chains quite a few times, talk about your performance and who you are as a player.

A: "I've worked on just staying consistent with the grind. Blocking and catching a lot of balls before and after practice."

Q: Your dad is a popular trainer around the DFW metroplex. What kinds of things have you learned from him?

A: “I’ve learned everything from my dad. Without him or God, none of this would be possible. When we go to training, we put in the work. He teaches me how to get off on releases, my routes, everything.”

Q: Your recruitment is still open, which programs have caught your eye?

A: “UTEP, Mississippi State, Arizona, Cal and Texas Tech”

Q: Do you have a decision date?

A: “I don’t have a decision date yet. Everything’s going well right now, and I’m just waiting for the right moment.”

Q: Looking ahead to the playoffs starting next week, what is one improvement you want to make as a team?

A: "I think we just need to continue to stay focused and locked in. Keep lifting one another up like we have been doing all season. We have a good team with great chemistry so as long as we continue to play for one another we can do great things!"
