Texas A&M relieves Darrell Dickey of offensive coordinator duties

Jimbo Fisher, Texas A&M Aggies relieve offensive coordinator, tight end coach Darrell Dickey of duties

The first step to real change for the Texas A&M offense took place Monday afternoon when offensive coordinator and tight end coach Darrell Dickey was relieved of his duties. The Aggies' offense disappointed throughout a stressful 5-7 showing in the 2022 season. They only averaged 22.8 points per game in the regular season, which was 101st in the nation. Texas A&M was 87th in first downs and 95th in total offense. Dickey didn’t call plays, but his removal opens up a spot for Jimbo Fisher to hire a play caller.
