Big Game Prediction: Fort Worth Wyatt (4-0, 1-0) vs. Fort Worth Arlington Heights (3-1, 1-0)

Jorvorskie Lane, Jr., a Texas A&M baseball commit, leads Fort Worth Wyatt against Robert Doyle and Fort Worth Arlington Heights in Week 6 of the 2023 TXHSFB season.

Fort Worth Wyatt (4-0, 1-0) vs Fort Worth Arlington Heights (3-1, 1-0): The two top teams in Fort Worth ISD meet up for not only bragging rights in FWISD, but both teams still have designs on challenging for the 4-5A Division II title.

Wyatt is working off a short week as the Chaparrals played Saturday in a 52-13 over Fort Worth Southwest.

Sophomore Jorvorskie Lane, Jr., a Texas A&M baseball commit, had a monster game with three total touchdowns as Wyatt raced out to a 39-7 halftime lead and cruised to the win in the second half.

Arlington Heights had no problems with Fort Worth Polytechnic last Thursday as the Yellowjackets took home a 64-14 win.

Robert Doyle accounted for four touchdowns as Heights tallied 510 yards of offense on the night.

One storyline in this game is both teams are without their QB’s as Wyatt QB Kaid Barrett, a four-year starter, has been out the past couple of games with an undisclosed injury, while Arlington Heights QB Eric Orozco, who led the ‘Jackets to 10 wins a year ago, will be out all year after a knee injury suffered right before the season.

Barrett may return for Wyatt, but it’s likely not going to be this week. This is a total toss up, but Heights’ experience and advantage up front in the trenches will be the key in this 817-showdown.
