Jacob Henry, Son of WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry, Transferring

Austin Lake Travis DCTF three-star Jacob Henry, son of WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry, is transferring to Austin Vandegrift High School.

Jacob Henry, a 6-foot-0, 275-pound defensive tackle in the Class of 2024, announced that he left Lake Travis and will be playing his senior season at Austin Vandegrift

"My family has relocated to Leander, and I am now attending Vandegrift High School," Henry exclaimed. "I am very excited to join the brotherhood and the wonderful community Vandegrift has! I look forward to growing as an athlete and as a man."

Henry collected 50 tackles, five TFLs, four sacks, and nine QB hurries to earn first-team all-district honors as a junior at Lake Travis. 

Henry is the son of AEW strongman, WWE Hall of Famer, and Olympian Mark Henry.

Like his father, Jacob is also an accomplished wrestler, qualifying for UIL state with a 21-3 regular season record.
