Glen Rose (3-2) at Midland Greenwood (3-2): The Dave Campbell’s Friday Night Game of the Week hits the Permian Basin this week as two 4A powers will collide in a true measuring stick game.

Both teams come into this one coming off tough losses a week ago, so each team will be looking to get back on the right foot.

Glen Rose, under first year head coach Jeff Pair, saw their three-game winning streak come to an end in a 56-35 loss to an explosive Robinson squad. The Tigers offense moved the ball well, but turnovers doomed them as the Tigers turned it over five times.

QB Judd Connelly threw for 246 yards and three scores, and he added a touchdown on the ground as well.

Midland Greenwood is a one-point win over 5A Wichita Falls Legacy from being in the midst of a three-game losing skid. The Rangers dropped a surprising 31-13 decision to 3A-Division I powerhouse Wall a week ago. Despite rolling up 457 yards of offense, four turnovers and allowing a punt return for a score proved to be the Rangers demise.

QB Andrick Rodriguez led Greenwood on the night with 215 yards passing and a score and 90 yards on the ground.

Both offenses will move the ball well, but with the game being in Midland and Greenwood showing an ability to take care of the ball a little better, the home team gets the nod.
