2028 ATH Jayshawn Mitchell (San Antonio Brennan) — The new DCTX four-star is a 5-foot-11, 200-pound athlete with verified elite speed, clocking a laser-timed 4.40 40-yard dash as the fastest man at The Opening regional in Dallas. Mitchell’s combination of size, speed and athleticism has helped him build a list of 35-plus offers, including Georgia, Michigan, Stanford, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and Ohio State.

2027 RB Jayvion Clayter (Georgetown East View) — The new DCTX three-star is a 5-foot-11, 210-pound power back who has emerged as one of the state’s top sleepers after a strong offseason boosted his overall outlook. Clayter has racked up almost 600 rushing yards over his last two games, showing the ability to grind out tough yards while still breaking long runs. UTEP, Army, Navy and Air Force have offered.

2027 LB Anthony James (La Marque) — The new DCTX three-star is a 6-foot-2, 200-pound linebacker with a well-rounded skill set and natural sideline-to-sideline range. James reads and reacts quickly, flows naturally to the football and consistently puts himself in position to make plays. James is committed to Illinois.

2027 WR Jason Wooden (Frisco Emerson) — The new DCTX three-star is a 6-foot-2, 200-pound receiver who has hauled in 22 receptions for 270 yards and three touchdowns. Wooden brings good size to the position and has continued to build his recruiting profile during his senior season. Wooden is committed to Iowa State and recently added an offer from Houston.

2028 RB Taylen Strange (Waxahachie) — The new DCTX three-star is a 5-foot-7, 180-pound back who has rushed for 590 yards and nine touchdowns. Strange is a tough, hard-nosed runner who will pick up the gritty yards between the tackles while still possessing the ability to break long runs. SMU, Rice, UTSA and Louisiana Tech have offered.
