Class 6A bragging rights on the Fort Worth side of DFW will be on the line as perennial powerhouse Aledo, in its first game as a 6A program, takes on the new program of record in the area in North Crowley.
Aledo, as always, will be outstanding in the trenches with Oregon State DL commit Tymon Meeks, OL Grant Forman and two-way lineman OL/DL Omari Din-Mbuh. The Bearcats questions will be at the skill spots. There’s a new QB but he has experience as former Lewisville QB Tre Williams is expected to take over the offense.
Speaking of new QB’s, North Crowley will be led by a new one as JT Torres takes over for his senior season after being ruled ineligible in 2025. He has an elite stable of WR’s led by Demarion Mays and a pair of big time RB’s in Kiante Ingram and North Texas RB commit G’Yrell Smith, but the Panthers offensive line is a question.
Defensively, the Panthers may have one of the state’s best group of defensive backs with UCLA CB commit Jerry Outhouse, Arizona State safety commit Elijajuan Houston, S Brock Lacy, who holds multiple FBS offers ,and sophomore CB Braylen Cunningham, who was sensational as a freshman.
The key to winning this game for North Crowley will be how its young defensive line handles that big and physical Aledo offensive line. If the Panthers do that, NCHS will take care of Aledo.
