Class of 2028: 150 Sophomores to Know in TXHSFB Recruiting

150 sophomores already making waves on the Texas high school football recruiting scene, including Jeremiah Tabor, RJ Wyms, Micah Rhodes and Jai'Storm Knight.

Every recruiting cycle, Dave Campbell’s Texas Football names five five-star prospects and 45 four-star prospects to form the Top 50 players in the state.

The 150 prospects listed below are players we believe can compete for those ranking spots in the Class of 2028. Our staff has spent extensive time evaluating film and building the initial board, and additional prospects will be evaluated and added as we move toward National Signing Day in 2028.

The early makeup of the class stands out at wide receiver, where 32 prospects have emerged. The depth up front is also notable, particularly at defensive tackle, where 14 players are already on the radar at one of the most difficult positions for colleges to fill.

The Five-Star Watch List will be updated on Thursday as 20+ four-star prospects in 2028 will be announced.
