Insider Scoop: Lewisville’s Roster Is Built to Contend

Lewisville is built to contend in 2026! Powered by elite recruits like Taelyn Mayo, Derrick "DJ" Martin, Aiden Evans, Devin Robinson, Tre Williams and more.

Coming off an 8-3 season, the Lewisville Fighting Farmers, led by Michael Odle, will return an abundance of talent in 2026, headlined by some of the DFW's top prospects.

2027

2027 DB Taelyn Mayo (6'4, 185): With over 30 scholarship offers, Mayo is one of the nation’s most heavily pursued cornerback prospects. He is coming off a strong performance at the Polynesian Bowl, where he showcased an elite skill set against some of the top receivers in the country. Mayo possesses rare size for the island, and despite his height, he can sink his hips, turn, and run with even the fastest receivers. Last season, there were times when he completely shut down his side of the field, helping him earn Unanimous 5-6A First-Team All-District honors. On the recruiting front, programs like Texas A&M, LSU and Ohio State are beginning to separate from the pack as he prepares to make a spring commitment.

Current Offers: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas State, Auburn, Baylor, Coastal Carolina, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, LSU, Miami, Missouri, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon, Oregon State, Sacramento State, San Diego State, Texas, Texas A&M, Tulsa, UCF, USC, UTSA, Washington

2027 RB/WR Derrick “DJ” Martin III (5'9, 180): The “Swiss Army knife” of the Lewisville offense had a breakout season in 2025, totaling 780 yards of offense and eight touchdowns to earn 5-6A First-Team All-District and Utility Player of the Year honors, all while playing through an injury. At the next level, he projects as a versatile offensive weapon who can be moved around the formation to create mismatches with his speed (22.97 MPH in pads, 4.43-second 40-yard dash) and instincts. He has collected over 25 scholarship offers and is looking for a school that blends strong academics with athletics, as programs like Oregon, Stanford, Vanderbilt, and Oklahoma (yet to offer) are making strong early impressions.

Current Offers: Arizona, Arkansas, Auburn, Coastal Carolina, Colorado State, Houston, Kansas State, Missouri, North Texas, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Oregon, Pittsburgh, Sacramento State, San Diego State, SMU, Stanford, TCU, Texas State, Tulane, Tulsa, USF, UTEP, UTSA, Vanderbilt

2027 DB Aiden Evans (5'10, 170): Evans was limited to six games due to injury but still made his presence known, earning Unanimous First-Team All-District honors in 5-6A. He patrols the safety position with authority while offering the versatility to transition to nickel at the college level. He has already secured 15 scholarship offers and continues to draw strong interest from programs such as Iowa, Missouri, Ole Miss, Duke and Stanford. Evans patterns his game after former Lewisville Hebron standout Jamal Adams.

Current Offers: Arkansas, Coastal Carolina, Colorado State, Howard, North Texas, Oregon State, Pittsburgh, Sacramento State, San Diego State, Southern Miss, Tulsa, UNLV, UTEP, UTSA, Wake Forest

2027 TE Landon “Boogie” Bogany (6'3, 225): You’ll be hard-pressed to find a more impressive physical specimen than Bogany, who boasts a 79-inch wingspan and rare athleticism. Bursting onto the recruiting radar as a freshman, Bogany has the skill set to thrive on both sides of the football, but he has consistently proven he can be a weapon on offense. As a junior, he scored five touchdowns on 24 catches, establishing himself as a red-zone threat. He also improved as a blocker in 2025, becoming a more complete player and a versatile flex-TE projection who can move around an offensive formation. Bogany earned 5-6A First-Team All-District honors.

Current Offers: Colorado State, Houston, North Texas, Oregon State, Pittsburgh, Southern Miss, Texas State, Tulane, Tulsa, UNLV, Wake Forest

2027 QB Tre Williams (5'11, 185): In his second year as Lewisville’s trigger man, Williams elevated his game, increasing his passing yards from 1,500 to 2,500 while throwing 29 touchdowns to lead an offense that averaged more than 32 points per game. An efficient game manager, he completed over 65% of his passes. In the offseason, Williams added more weight and enters his senior year with high expectations.

Current Offers: Arizona State, Colorado State, Marshall, Sacramento State, Texas State, UNLV

2027 LB Devin Robinson (6'0, 190): A true field general, Robinson serves as the “quarterback of the defense." He finished his junior season with 115 tackles, 1 interception, and 2 forced fumbles in 11 games, earning Unanimous 5-6A First-Team All-District honors. With a 75-inch wingspan and 21.34 mph verified top-end speed, Robinson combines range, physicality and high football IQ. Already holding offers from Southern Miss, Oregon State, Rice, UTEP and Sacramento State, he continues to draw interest from programs including Kansas State, Arizona State, Texas A&M, Stanford and Yale.

Current Offers: Oregon State, Rice, Sacramento State, Southern Miss, UTEP

2028

2028 OL Peter MacDonald (6'3, 295): The big right guard is a model of consistency on the line, earning an early offer from Colorado State while drawing interest from Columbia, Dartmouth, Princeton, Oklahoma, and UTSA. His Ivy League attention reflects strong academics, and the 5-6A Second-Team All-District honoree boasts a 78-inch wingspan along with a background in wrestling and track.

Lewisville features a pair of 2028 receivers in WR Landon Brazzell (5'8, 160) and WR Xavier Miles (6'3, 170) whose skill sets should complement each other tremendously. Brazzell, who holds offers from Sacramento State and North Texas, is a slippery slot receiver who uses his speed and quick-twitch ability to create space and open up the offense. He broke out as a sophomore, totaling 488 yards and six touchdowns, earning 5-6A Second-Team All-District honors. Miles is a bona fide outside threat, using his long arms and massive catch radius to make plays downfield. He has already drawn an early offer from Southern Miss and attention from Stanford.

More Names to Know: OL Ken Leunammachack (6'2, 250), WR Vahn Malvo (6'1, 150), RB Adrian “AJ” Erwin (5'11, 145), RB Ezekiel Grier (5'4, 160), WR Kyle Hawkins (5'4, 115), DB Nathaniel Pratt (5'7, 145), WR Khyelon Johnson (5'9, 160)

2029

2029 RB Kason Crumpton (5'9, 165): The next up-and-coming star in the Lewisville offense, Crumpton patterns his game after Isaiah Pacheco and Marshawn Lynch, weaving strengths from both into his mindset. "I really think my speed kills—it’s something people don’t really expect from me," Crumpton said. "And then my strength—I look like a smaller back, but when I get on that field, I can handle it." South Carolina is one of the first schools to show him love, but he would be open to playing anywhere in the country for a program that "appreciates his talents."

Opening lanes for Crumpton could be 2029 OL Tahj Perkins (6'5, 315), an athletic lineman with a basketball background—his mother also played college basketball. Lewisville OL coach Meka Okafor, a Sunnyvale alum who played at Texas Tech and Houston, is enthusiastic about Perkins’ upside.
