SMU, UCF game moved to Sunday due to hurricane concerns

Hurricane concerns in Florida caused the SMU, UCF football game to move from Saturday to Sunday at noon

Growing concerns in the state of Florida of potential impact of Hurricane Ian caused UCF to move its Week 5 matchup against SMU to Sunday at 1 p.m. The game was originally scheduled for Saturday at 2:30 p.m. SMU enters its first conference game of the season on a two-game losing streak following losses to Maryland and TCU. UCF is 3-1 on the season and on a two-game winning streak with recent victories over FAU and Georgia Tech. Its only loss was to Louisville in Week 2.
