What would 7A football look like in Texas?

There's a chance that Texas high school football could add a 7A division within the next few years. So what would that mean for realignment and schools like Allen, Odessa Permian, Euless Trinity, Lake Travis and Galena Park North Shore?

What could a 7A division look like in Texas high school football?

My thought process was to take the largest 6A schools plus the two Jesuit's and make a super conference.

The 7A playoffs would start the week after the playoffs start in the other classifications so that the state title games are all played on the same weekend. Four teams from each of the 8 districts would make the playoffs.

The two 12-team districts are broken into six team zones - these teams will play four non-district games, five zone games then a zone playoff Week 11 to determine the 4 playoff spots. Because they are located in the Houston area, these two districts can pair up for scheduling purposes for that 4th non-district game.
