COLLEGE STATION — Georgetown quarterback Morgan Mickan threw touchdown passes to five different receivers to lead the Eagles to a 41-24 win over Houston Stratford at the FSN Southwest 7-on-7 State Championship Saturday at Kyle Field.

Mickan, who was named Most Valuable Player of the Tournament, hit Ben Youngblood with a touchdown pass with no time left in the first half to give the Eagles a 20-12 lead. Jason Stone's interception return for a touchdown wrapped up Georgetown's scoring.

Stratford quarterback Andrew Luck had two scoring passes to Grant Josey.

In an all-Rio Grande Valley consolation final, San Benito defeated McAllen Rowe, 41-34, when LeRoy Zamora caught a pass from Abel Aguirre on the right sideline and turned the corner for the game-winning touchdown.

San Benito had led 34-14 but interceptions by Rowe's Joe Benitez and Ricky Soto led the comeback. The Warriors tied it, 34-34 on a touchdown pass and two-point conversion from Michael Enriquez to Soto.
