Texas Inks DCTF Rising Coverboy Ja'Tavion Sanders

DCTF five-star Ja'Tavion Sanders has made it official by inking with the Texas Longhorns. What is UT getting in the top-rated specimen from Denton Ryan?

Denton Ryan 2021 DE Ja'Tavion Sanders (6'4, 230) inked with Texas on Wednesday, giving the Longhorns the No. 1 defensive prospect in the state. 

Sanders is rated as a five-star DCTF prospect. He checks in as the No. 3 prospect in the DCTF Hot 100 and the No. 1 DE in the state of Texas. 

There had been some doubts about Sanders inking with the Longhorns as the Early Signing Period approached, but the athletic specimen put them all to rest when he signed his name on the UT Letter of Intent. 

Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Sanders is a physical freak who dominates on both sides of the football in high school but could be making a ton of money one day in the NFL as an edge-rushing defensive end. He has a lightning-fast first step and can run down the fastest ball carriers. Sanders is rated as a DCTF five-star.
