Auburn Adds Second North Shore Commit, Powerful OG Jaeden Roberts Announces for Tigers

Auburn has added a second major commitment from Galena Park North Shore by way of massive OG Jaeden Roberts, who was one of the state's most-heavily recruited interior line prospects.

North Shore 2021 OG Jaeden Roberts (6'5, 340) committed to Auburn over offers from schools like Texas, Texas A&M, Georgia, LSU and Oklahoma State.

Roberts is rated as a DCTF three-star prospect, checking in as the No. 4 OG and No. 61 prospect overall in the DCTF Hot 100.

Scouting Report: Roberts is best described as a road grater. His size and power are easily distinguishable in person and on tape.  He throws high school kids around and moves pretty well for a high school lineman who checks in over 330 pounds. If he is able to get his hands on you, it is over. He is very strong at the point of attack and can stonewall the strongest defensive tackles

Quotable: "Extremely gifted big man with dominating strength." - North Shore coaching staff

As a junior in 2019, Roberts helped lead North Shore to the 6A-D1 state championship and earned 21-6A first-team all-district honors.

Roberts joins fellow North Shore teammate QB Demetrius Davis on Auburn's 2021 commitment list. Davis announced his commitment to the Tigers just over one week ago.
