Rice Adds Colleyville Heritage TE Jaggar Hebeisen to 2021 Commit List

Rice has added a new commitment from the DFW area in Colleyville Heritage tight end Jaggar Hebeisen.

Colleyville Heritage 2021 TE Jagger Hebeisen (6'2, 235) just announced his commitment to play for Rice.

Hebeisen picked the Owls over offers from schools like Utah, Air Force, Arkansas State, Louisiana Tech, New Mexico and a collection of Ivy League schools.

As a junior in 2019, Hebeisen collected 12 passes for 193 yards and a touchdown to help lead Colleyville Heritage to a 9-5 record. He earned 4-5A Division I all-district honors.

Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Hebeisen has experience playing with his hand on the ground as a traditional tight end and as an H-back. He exhibits good overall, athleticism, runs well and shows soft hands when given an opportunity to get his hands on the ball. He is a big target in passing game, but he is at his best blocking from the TE, where he uses body to get positioning and maintains contact well, he can maul. We see big upside with his size and athleticism.
