Prospect on the Rise
The word is starting to get out on Garland 2021 wide receiver Jordan Hudson (6'1, 180).
Yesterday, Arizona became his third Power Five conference offer joining Kansas and Oklahoma State.
In 2019, Hudson collected 79 receptions for 1,270 yards and 20 touchdowns.
Commit of the Week
Cedar Hill 2020 OT Courtland Ford (6'6, 305) announced that he was committing to USC.
Ford picked the Trojans over offers from schools like Baylor, LSU, Minnesota, Texas Tech, and more.
Ford is rated as the No. 67 prospect in the DCTF Hot 100.
Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Ford has the chance to be an outrageous success story when others counted him out. A one-time LSU commit, Ford has lost 20 pounds since last spring, and he looks the part of a streamlined tackle who plays with a mean streak. He's got good strength and is playing with solid pad level.
Underclassman of the Week
DeSoto 2021 QB Samari Collier (6'3, 210) committed to Illinois over an offer from New Mexico State.
Collier had his breakout season on the field for the Eagles in 2019, completing 164 of 292 passes for 2,645 yards and 33 touchdowns and rushing for 472 yards.
Recruit of the Week
Frisco Lone Star 2020 four-star WR Marvin Mims (6'1, 170) set the Texas single-season receiving yards record in a 38-20 win over Lancaster.
Mims collected 10 receptions for 214 yards and two scores. He now has 2,438 yards and 31 touchdowns in 2019.
Mims, who is verbally committed to Oklahoma, is the No. 28 prospect in the DCTF Hot 100.
